Coffee bags - upcycled

Step one: Buy your favorite coffee.

Step two:  Enjoy your favorite coffee.

Step three:  Clean up the empty bag (s).

Step four:  Cut them up and add a zipper.  (That pin is in there just to keep it open for the picture)  Each small zipper bag is lined in fabric fused to the coffee bag.

Step five:  Make another and another.

They measure about 4" x 5".  Time to put some coffee on....care to join me?

  11. Oh my, what a great idea! I've never sewn zippers and am a bit intimidated by them, but this would be a good project to do some practicing!
