101 Patchwork projects and quilts - I made the 2 vases - this one on the cover and a patchwork one inside the book.
A trip to Wal-Mart I was able to buy the perfect height vase for the piece at $2! Being a Virginia Tech fan, I had to start out with a orange and maroon vase.
This one is for my mother-in-law who just bought a blue couch for her porch - I sure hope she'll like this!
This is the bud vase that I made for myself - see that little piece of dachshund fabric at the base - in honor of my dachshund, Chandler.
The great thing about this one, is you've got 4 sides and no bottom. Fill up a jar with water.
Both were very easy to make!
